    as a socal native that moved here to live the dream about 5 years ago...i can see how that's the outside perception. i thought it too. but living here, you find that although we're small, we can "hyper accelerate" and get to business leaders, decision makers, and thought leaders far more quickly because of our size. in 3 phone calls, i can get to anyone. in CA i had a much more difficult time with that.
